Go'on test yourself

It is so hot, we both had trouble sleeping last night. In the day time I just don't
want to go out. I had a headache from the moment I left the house till late last
night and I'm sure it's just the dreaded heat. Staying indoors allows for reading
and painting bears although it is rather hot upstairs as well. I finished
The Surgeon: A Novel last night. Thoroughly enjoyable and I will probably start
The Apprentice today. We also did a interesting personality test yesterday and
I thought our results were accurate. Take the Jung-Myers-Briggs test. I joined
a Forum for HSP's which should be interesting. If you think you might be a Highly
Sensitive person start reading here HSP.

My boys

Our little boy in the womb is 30 weeks this week.

I found out the dreaded clumsiness that has been torturing me all weekend
is due to extra hormones that make my joints more flexible, lovely when
your a gymnast I'm sure.

I found this photo this morning and it's just too gorgeous.
I love my boys!

Reading

I read 'The Mephisto Club' on Saturday and enjoyed it very much. My mom's been
a fan of Tess Garritsen for a while so we've managed to collect most of her books.
I remember starting The Surgeon: A Novel but not finishing it for some reason.
I started it again yesterday and am looking forward to mowing my way through
all the books in this series.

We have a cot

We set up the cot and it looks so pretty.
I heard t was really difficult and complicated but we did it in under 1/2 hour so
I don't see what the fuss is about.

Bears on the wall

These are the bears on one wall of the nursery. It takes quite a bit of time to get them on the
wall but after the first two I developed some strategies to help the process on. Carbon paper and since the bears have to be painted in a few times before the blue is covered I started doing more than one at a time. Saves oodles of time. I'm so happy with the result. Hope the baby will like it!

The bear hanging on the line was also finished today. It's so cute. The others I finished in the
previous weeks. It's getting a bit uncomfortable to go out to shops as my tummy is quite big.
I painted my toe nails last night but it's like painting over an exercise ball!

These are the last two bears of 3 I finished today. One wall is done completely now. I am very pleased with how they came out and already started the opposite wall.

The kid lost his name again

After really being set on Dylan Christopher we now, yet again decided it doesn't work for us.
Only 9 weeks left and the child remains nameless. When I told R I had my doubts about Dylan,
he said: "Well actually, so do I"

It is very funny and also frustrating. I'm sure we'll come up with something.

I have started altering this handbag. My first idea failed but I'm on track now.

Just jump in!

One day, I just decided I didn't need my swimming wings anymore. My dad was mowing the lawn so I knew I had a life preserver in place should I need it. I told him that I was going to take my swimming wings off and that he should watch. I took them off and jumped in. The water closed over my head and I held my breath. I knew instantly that I was going to be fine. I stayed under the water for as long as I could and pushed myself upward when I needed breath. The first thing I did when I broke the water was to look at my dad.

Did he see me?
He was moving the lawn.
I asked him: "Did you see, I did it!" and he said:
" Yes I saw".
